Celina Guzman, MA, LPC (VA & TX) Founder & Clinical Director | Virginia Board-Approved LPC Supervisor
Credentials & Highlights
Hello, I’m Celina Guzman, founder and Clinical Director of Road to Ready Counseling. I became a counselor because I believe everyone deserves a safe, supportive space where they can feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change.
I have worked in the mental health field since 2018, providing support across outpatient therapy, assessments, supervisory roles, and intensive community-based programs. These experiences have allowed me to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and life challenges.
I specialize in supporting children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, and other mental health challenges. I provide therapy in both English and Spanish and use an integrative approach that incorporates evidence-based counseling techniques tailored to each client's unique needs, strengths, and goals.
My goal is to create a compassionate and collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel safe exploring their experiences, developing coping skills, strengthening resilience, and improving their overall well-being.
In addition to providing therapy, I am passionate about supporting the growth of future counselors. As a Virginia Board-approved LPC Supervisor, I provide clinical supervision to residents in counseling seeking LPC licensure. I believe supervision should be a collaborative experience that encourages reflection, clinical growth, ethical decision-making, and confidence as a developing professional.

Hello, I’m Emma! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia. I received my Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Mental Health Counseling from Boston University. I work primarily with adolescents and young adults who are often at a place in life characterized by exploration, transition, and identity development.
In our work together, I aim to meet you where you are, hold space as we explore questions, and support you in using your strengths to identify and address areas of growth and change.
I strongly believe in the mind-body connection, and my approach often incorporates reflection and understanding of both cognitive and physical aspects of your experiences. This also includes consideration of factors such as nutrition, movement, and sleep. In addition to talk therapy, I pull from expressive arts activities (e.g., music, art, writing), as well as movement-based approaches (e.g., walking, stretching, yoga) if these modalities feel like a good fit to you.
My goal is to provide a safe space where you feel heard, and can develop the tools to navigate through the twists and turns of life. I look forward to connecting with you!

Hi! My name is Melissa Siebert and I am a VA Board of Counseling approved Resident in Counseling, currently working toward full-licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I obtained my Bachelors Degree in Liberal Arts from Kent State University and have two Masters degrees- one in Intercultural/International Relations from the School for International Training and the other in Counseling from NC Central University.
I have over 20 years of experience working with adolescents, young adults and the LGBTQIA community on a variety of issues such as self-esteem, emotional regulation, anger management, anxiety, depression, life transitions, family issues, and coping with grief and loss.
As a counselor, I believe in my client’s vast capabilities and aspirations, while also understanding the very real obstacles and limitations that can get in the way of happiness and a sense of fulfillment. I understand that there are many facets of our lives that are outside of our control. I also understand, from personal experience, that how we feel about ourselves is often dictated by direct and indirect messages we receive from loved ones, colleagues and friends, and society as a whole. My approach to therapy is both person-centered and action-oriented. I encourage my clients to examine their fears and limitations and to work on concrete skills to overcome them. My ultimate goal is to give my clients a sense of hope for the future and more control over the direction of their lives.
Choosing a counselor is a very personal decision. It is important to find the right fit, so I’d like to tell you a little about me. I am someone with very strong values around equality. My life’s work has very much been about making the world a more equitable and inclusive place for everyone in it. I am a divorced mother of two teenage boys, one with ADD and one on the Autism spectrum who also has Type 1 Diabetes, and also a member of the LGBTQIA community. I strongly believe that my own struggles throughout my life have made me a very compassionate and empathetic counselor. I am here to assist my clients in creating a path forward in a world that can be very challenging.
