Road to Ready Counseling offers therapy services with accepted insurance plans and payment options for individuals, couples, and families.
The insurance providers listed below represent some of the major plans we work with; coverage and plan names can vary depending on your specific policy. Road to Ready Counseling works with a variety of insurance providers and programs to help make therapy more accessible. Please note that insurance coverage, benefits, and plan names can vary depending on your specific policy. If you do not see your insurance provider listed, please contact us to verify whether your plan is accepted.
Commercial, Employer-Sponsored, and Marketplace Insurance Plans (Virginia)

Understanding Your Insurance Benefits
Counseling services may be covered partially or fully by your health insurance plan. Because coverage varies by insurance provider and individual policy, we recommend contacting your insurance company before beginning therapy to better understand your benefits.
When speaking with your insurance provider, you may want to ask:
- What is my deductible, and has it been met?
- What is my copayment or coinsurance amount for each counseling session?
- Do I need prior authorization or approval from my primary care provider?
- How many counseling sessions are covered each calendar year?
- What is my coverage for an out-of-network provider?
Additional Payment Methods
For clients who choose self-pay or whose insurance does not cover services, we accept several convenient payment methods, including:

- HSA cards
- FSA cards
- CareCredit
Payment for the initial intake assessment and ongoing therapy sessions is collected at the time of service and/or prior to the next scheduled appointment.
