Road to Ready Counseling, LLC provides counseling services, including but not limited to, ADHD, anger management, anxiety, academic concerns, behavioral issues, blended family issues, depression, life transitions, oppositional defiance, peer relationships, phobia, self-esteem, trauma, self-harming thoughts and behaviors, and/or sibling issues. Our therapists use evidence-based techniques to help children and teens develop healthy coping skills, improve self-esteem, stabilize mood, improve overall functioning, and achieve greater success in school and other areas of life.
Art Therapy
Our art therapy services encourage clients to utilize their creativity through paint and drawing to express and resolve emotions and thought patterns. Our therapists utilize art therapy to support individuals in exploring thoughts and feelings that cause distress and utilize art as a means to assist in the resolution of those conflicts.
sandtray therapy
Our sand tray therapy service is an expressive and hands-on technique designed to assist clients to express emotions, boost creativity, increase resilience, and process aspects of their inner and outer world through the use of a sand tray and miniature figures in a safe environment.
play therapy
Our play therapy services are designed to assist children with exploring and expressing feelings through play. Play therapy assists children to learn social skills, verbalize emotions, develop creative solutions to address conflicts, develop self-respect, enhance empathy and respect for others, and alleviate mental health symptoms. Our therapists utilize play therapy techniques for optimal growth and development.
family therapy
Our family counseling services are designed to assist families improve healthy communication, resolve relationship conflicts, and find healthy strategies to work together within the family structure. Our licensed therapists work with families to identify resilience, explore strengths, resolve conflicts in a safe therapeutic environment, and develop a strong sense of family cohesion.
