Graduate Practicum & Internship

Road to Ready Counseling welcomes graduate students from CACREP-accredited master's counseling programs. Whether you're seeking a practicum or clinical internship placement, we are committed to supporting your professional growth in a collaborative, client-centered environment.

As a practicum or internship student, you'll gain hands-on experience in an outpatient mental health setting while working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Under the supervision of a licensed clinician, you'll develop your clinical skills through assessment, treatment planning, clinical documentation, and the delivery of evidence-based counseling services.

In addition to direct clinical experience, you'll gain valuable exposure to the day-to-day operations of a private practice, including care coordination, marketing, community outreach, and practice operations. Our goal is to help you graduate with not only strong clinical skills but also a broader understanding of how a successful private practice operates.

Practicum and internship placements are educational training experiences completed in partnership with participating graduate counseling programs. At this time, these placements are unpaid and are designed to provide meaningful clinical training, individualized supervision, and valuable exposure to private practice.
