Road to Ready Counseling provides board-approved clinical supervision for residents in counseling in the Commonwealth of Virginia who are working toward Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure. As a board-approved supervisor, Celina Guzman provides guidance and mentorship to residents developing their clinical skills, professional identity, and confidence as independent counselors. Supervision is designed to support growth through case consultation, ethical decision-making, treatment planning, and reflection on clinical experiences.Clinical supervision is an important part of the professional journey, providing residents with the opportunity to develop clinical skills, gain confidence, explore ethical considerations, and receive guidance as they transition into independent practice.Supervision may support residents in:

Students receive supportive clinical training, mentorship, and opportunities to develop counseling skills while serving children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in a collaborative private practice setting.

Yes. Road to Ready Counseling welcomes graduate students enrolled in qualifying Clinical Mental Health Counseling and related graduate counseling programs who are completing practicum or internship requirements in Virginia.
Yes. We welcome inquiries from students enrolled in CACREP-accredited Clinical Mental Health Counseling programs as well as other qualifying graduate counseling programs, provided placement requirements align with our practice, supervision model, and available training opportunities.

Yes. Supervision is provided by a Virginia Board-Approved Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Supervisor who is committed to supporting your clinical growth, ethical practice, and professional development throughout your practicum, internship, or residency experience.
